It's the Little Things - Original Watercolour

'It's the Little Things’ is part of my New Bird Collection for 2026.
 
This tiny, brown, highly active bird is the most common breeding species in the UK.  The wren is known for its incredibly loud song, plump round shape, and short, often vertical, cocked tail, it is a regular garden visitor. 
 
There is a widespread folk tale about how the wren outwitted the eagle to become 'king of the birds'.....clever little bird.
 
A wren visiting you is traditionally seen as a sign of good luck, joy, and new beginnings, often representing resilience, creativity, and the power of small, persistent efforts.
 
Expertly framed by The Yorkshire Framer in a solid maple frame which enhances the nature of this piece. It also has ArtGlass which ensures a greatly reduced reflection and gives protection to the art.
